Healthy Livin'

Hey all,

I've been trying to eat healthier lately and eat cleaner! Meaning more lean meat, more vegetables, and more fruits, and most importantly more water!
Yesterday my roommate Meghan and I went to the natural health store in Fargo. It's like my new favorite place in the world. There are so many different supplements and different neat things there. It's a little expensive, but that's to be expected, but it's just a really friendly atmosphere. But I am actually not allowed in there anymore because I am so tempted to buy everything there! Yesterday I walked away with only $20.00 worth of stuff, but that was for two items..
I purchased a bag of Chia seeds, which are amazing. They are an excellent source of fiber and they are really easy to consume. I just put them in some water with lemon juice and drink it that way. But there are a variety of ways that you can consume them. I'm still experimenting, but drinking them is really easy. I drink them in the morning and then like boom, I'm awake!
The other item I got was bentonite clay powder. This. Stuff. Is. Amazing. I love it. You make it into a paste and then apply it to your face and wait 15-20 minutes and rinse it off. I did it yesterday with Meghan and our skin looked radiant afterward! It was like a miracle! But I think it helped even the tone of my skin a little bit, it definitely looked less red and patchy which is always welcome and it seemed less dry. But both of these products just make me feel awake and perky!
But no more spending money!

So if you have some money to toss around and are looking to get healthier, I recommend Chia seeds for sure!

Peace&Love.
